Park scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Belgrade, 36-7. At the time, the Panthers was ranked 15th in the state, while the Rangers was 32nd.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Park, who took down 15th ranked Belgrade, 36-7.
Fergus's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. James Derheim threw for 58 and one touchdown and Dylan Stenseth had 44 yards receiving. On the ground Ethan Blythe chipped in 204 yards. Blythe helped Fergus' passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Havre's Dane Warp and Zach Plum have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central A in both passing and receiving yards. Warp has thrown for 1611 yards this season, while Plum has 28 catches for 573 yards. Zac Brady from Eric Kinnaman's team leads the league in rushing with 824 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Golden Eagles take on the Rangers. Fergus' offense has racked up 162 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Park has allowed only 75 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gary Gebert's team takes on the Rangers. At the moment, the Golden Eagles are in third, while Park is in first.
The Rangers were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Panthers. Park came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
