The Penns Manor Comets had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They didn't even let Portage onto the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for Penns Manor, who have now won three matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Penns Manor can attribute much of their success to Amin Lieb, who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns.
Penns Manor's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Portage, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Penns Manor will square off against Purchase Line at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Portage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
