Basketball Recap: Milton's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Milton came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Monroe Cheesemakers, sneaking past 73-70. The Red Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cheesemakers, too.

Milton pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Milton will host Monona Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Milton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Monona Grove likes a good challenge. As for Monroe, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-40 win against East Troy on the 11th.
