With a playoff win on the line, Douglass rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over the Eastern Tech Mavericks. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

Douglass' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Naiy'Lah Crutchfield, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Crutchfield is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Francesca Svizzero, who had nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Douglass' win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Eastern Tech, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-13.

Douglass has already played their next game (against Hereford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastern Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
