Rio Rancho extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came out on top against the Rio Grande Ravens by a score of 7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

As for Rio Grande, their record is now 0-2. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For Rio Grande's part, David Gonzalez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Logan Reed was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Rancho will be taking part in a tournament against Santa Fe at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rio Grande, they will host Sandia Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
