On Friday, the LaVille Lancers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  47-41 to the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings.
 Despite the loss, LaVille still got an impressive performance from   Brooke Edison, who  went 9 for 14 en route to 22 points plus seven  steals and six  rebounds. Edison is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 26 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jasmine Foster, who  scored nine points plus five  rebounds.
 LaVille's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tippecanoe Valley,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 LaVille wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  51-29  victory against Mishawaka Marian on the 16th. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will challenge NorthWood at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
