Metuchen got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jason Woods out in front who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Woods also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Smith, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Kennedy Memorial's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Metuchen, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Kennedy Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Carteret at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Metuchen, they will head out on the road to challenge Middlesex at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
