Cambridge Christian has not had much luck with Northside Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cambridge Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Martinez, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Martinez's third in a row with at least ten points. Karston Michael Ash was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 steals.
Cambridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northside Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cambridge Christian will square off against Foundation Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
