Hagan McCarley put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. He tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in February.

McCarley's strong effort led Baldwyn over Wheeler and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
