Fans got a thrill when Sherman Harris and Cole Menas connected against Potomac School. The longest such play in Mid-Atlantic [MAC] this season, the connection resulted in 71 yards.
Harris of St. James ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against the Panthers last week. Harris ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 121 on the day as his team fell to Potomac School.
Jalen Broome was a beast in the backfield as Patrick Duffy's team bested St. James.
Wingerd Alec was a key player and the best on defense this week as John Root's team lost to the Panthers. The 5-foot-11 senior recorded 1 fumble and racked up 2 sacks.
Oscar Boochever was the best wideout in the league this week as Sidwell Friends defeated Maret. Boochever racked up 4 receptions for 111 yards. Dylan Greynolds helped Sidwell Friends' passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 67 yards.
The Quakers' Ted Hefter and Diamente Holloway have formed a dream team this season, leading Mid-Atlantic [MAC] in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hefter has thrown for 582 yards this season, while Holloway has 20 catches for 288 yards. Potomac School's Broome leads the league in rushing yards with 1,122.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Potomac School takes on second place Maret.

Potomac School added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating St. James, 42-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Panthers.
