After losing to Downey the last time they met, Enochs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Enochs Eagles' way against the Downey Knights on Wednesday as the Enochs Eagles made off with a 63-43 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Downey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Solomon Paris, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Miller, who posted ten points.

Enochs' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Downey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enochs will welcome Modesto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Enochs is facing Modesto at the right time seeing as Modesto is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Downey, they will host Pitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
