Nikko Willis gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Thursday. He was unstoppable, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Mounds: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-10 otherwise.

Coming up, Willis and Mounds will face off against Nowata at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles are a perfect 3-0 against the Ironmen going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
