Cole Brown had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 278 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 107 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. Those 107 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Avery Brown was Cole's top target, picking up 111 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Collinwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central 43-22 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their seven-point performance the contest before.
McKenzie's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for Collinwood, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for McKenzie against Collinwood when the teams last played back in November of 2023, as the squad secured a 43-0 win.
