Ware Shoals came out on top against Thornwell on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run sixth inning. The Hornets blew past the Saints 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Thornwell, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.
