Ryan Campbell was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 25 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Duran, who scored six points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Liberty Baptist Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Word of Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Baptist Academy will take on Beaver Dam at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver Dam has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Word of Life Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mountain View Christian at 4:00 p.m.
