Basketball Recap: Eagle Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eagle extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Bryant Bigelow. The Eagle Mustangs came out on top against the Ridgevue Warhawks by a score of 63-55 on Tuesday thanks to Bigelow, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points and five assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (67%).

Another player making a difference was Andrew Palferman, who posted four points in addition to nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals. He is becoming a predictor of Eagle's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 10-4 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

Several Warhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaimana Nielson, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javonte Boles, who earned 13 points.

Eagle's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Ridgevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgevue, they will take on Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Centennial has three straight wins, Ridgevue has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
