Loss or not, Eastside got some senior leadership from Jahaan Green who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and Will Love who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Green hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Tyrone Washam was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven assists.
Eastside has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Richwoods, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Eastside on the road again on Wednesday and play against Camden Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 17th. Camden Catholic will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Richwoods, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Urbana has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 333 points over their last five games.
