Regents found their leader in underclassman Kaileen Harlow, who scored 26 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Harlow has scored at least a third of Regents' points. Another player making a difference was Kiara Bullard, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, United Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Blue Ridge Christian back in December of 2023 and fell 2-0. United Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Regents has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for United Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Regents beat United Christian Academy 28-17 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Regents since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
