Amari Clemons' Big Game Leads Marianna over North Bay Haven Academy
Amari Clemons was instrumental in extending Marianna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Clemons as he rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Marianna's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Clemons will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Leon on Friday.

Rutherford was led to victory by Jaleel Reed, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Reed rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 178 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory snapped Rutherford's winning streak at eight games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record. Reed and Rutherford are taking a road trip to challenge North Bay Haven Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rutherford's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Chaz'Ton Scott. Scott was dynamite on Friday, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

R?Kayzeon White's big game helped extend Marianna's winning streak to seven on Friday. North Bay Haven Academy had no answer to White as he rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. White got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.

Rj Mayes's big game helped extend Marianna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Mayes as he threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes.
On the year, Mayes has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 165.6 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six passing touchdowns.
