The Berrien Rebels lost against the Dodge County Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Berrien took a serious blow against Dodge County, falling 56-29. Berrien has not had much luck with Dodge County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Lyric Green, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 14 rebounds for Dodge County. Green is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Paige Ingram, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Berrien has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Dodge County, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Berrien didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-37 loss vs. Worth County on the 10th. Dodge County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
