Xavier Hunt looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Louisville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was Caden Thompkins and his two sacks.
Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-1. As for Louisville, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
