It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Columbia Wildcats can now relate to. They took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Saturday. Columbia's loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.
Xavier Hunt looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Louisville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was Caden Thompkins and his two sacks.
Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-1. As for Louisville, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Louisville also has no future games currently scheduled.
