The Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Normal Community Ironmen on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 31-30 to the Ironmen. Bradley-Bourbonnais lost against Normal Community in their previous head to head back in September of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 47-7 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Normal Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mar?quan Gary, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Kyle Beaty, who rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown.
Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Normal Community, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Bradley-Bourbonnais does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Normal Community also has no future games currently scheduled.
