The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bonney Lake, who took down 124th ranked Bonney Lake, 30-26. Domenic Rockey threw for 133 yards and one touchdown and ran for 20 yards in the win.
Peninsula extended the longest winning streak in 3A SPSL this week by beating Lakes, 30-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Seahawks.
Auburn Mountainview's Rockey and Kekoa Nahaku have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rockey has thrown for 1822 yards this season, while Nahaku, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 51 catches for 711 yards. Kevin Thompson from the Lancers leads the league in rushing with 660 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Peninsula takes on second place Lakes. Last week, Peninsula bested Lakes, while Lakes fell to Peninsula.
Ross Filkins' team took down Dave Miller's team 30-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
