The Brantley Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 70-43 victory over Florala. Brantley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.
Brantley found their leader in underclassman Alex Grimes, who scored 31 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Grimes has scored at least a third of Brantley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Annah Parker Little, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Brantley and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for Florala, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brantley will take on Opp at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Opp focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Tuesday. As for Florala, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Destin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
