Make it 13 blowout wins for the Westside Wolves this season. They claimed a resounding 58-24 win over Heights on the road. Winning may never get old, but Westside sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Leading Westside to victory were Neso Anisiobi and Te?lynn Lee-rose. Anisiobi dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Lee-rose scored 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Anisiobi has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Krysten Carter, who scored five points along with three steals.
Westside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Westbury the next time they take the court. Heights will head out to face Westbury at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, while Westside will host them at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
