This season hasn't been kind to the Waldorf Mavericks, who are still winless after their fifth match. They had to suffer through a rough 81-14 loss at the hands of Crystal Springs Uplands. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Waldorf has scored all season.
Crystal Springs Uplands found their leader in underclassman Marcus Kueh, who scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kueh has scored all season. Gianni Chung was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Waldorf bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
Waldorf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crystal Springs Uplands won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Priory at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Priory focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Tuesday.
