Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Gets the Win

While Plainfield didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Hillside Comets by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won three in a row.

Plainfield's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hillside, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Plainfield and Hillside will both be playing Oratory Prep the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Comets will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
