The River View Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against James Monroe, falling 83-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points River View has scored all season.
James Monroe was led to victory by Brady Baker and Cooper Ridgeway. Baker scored 13 points, while Ridgeway scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Ridgeway is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Ryan Mann was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals and two blocks.
River View's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for James Monroe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
