The Dillingham Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 51-37 fall against Bristol Bay. Dillingham has not had much luck with the Angels recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Bristol Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chad Anderson out in front who scored 15 points. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keilan Wassillie, who scored 12 points.
Dillingham's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bristol Bay, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillingham and the Eagles/Lady Eagles will face off at 3:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Sand Point focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Thursday.
