Lake Gibson is a perfect 10-0 against Ridge Community since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Braves will look to defend their home field against the Bolts at 7:00 p.m. Lake Gibson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.
Lake Gibson will bounce into Monday's game after beating Winter Haven, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Braves were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Blue Devils on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Braves have beaten the Blue Devils on their field since April 30, 2019.

Andrea Lewis was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with seven RBI, four runs, and two triples. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kylie Vazquez, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs.
Lake Gibson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winter Haven only posted a batting average of .296.
Meanwhile, Ridge Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 14-3 to Lakeland.
Ridge Community saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianis Osorio-Santiago, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Olivia Leone also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Lake Gibson, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Ridge Community's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lake Gibson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Ridge Community, though, as they've only averaged .221. Will they be able to contain Lake Gibson's hitters?
