Camarillo extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jaeah Blaney. The Scorpions came out on top against the Oxnard Yellowjackets by a score of 25-12 on Thursday with plenty of help from Blaney, who threw for 209 yards and four TDs. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Camarillo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mia Francisco and Mya Rei Smith.

Although Oxnard took the loss, they still got scores from Jazzlene Dominguez and Ryanna Harris.

Camarillo's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Oxnard, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Camarillo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 26-8 victory against Rio Mesa on the 23rd. As for Oxnard, they have also already played their next matchup, a 32-6 win against Agoura on the 23rd.
