The Papillion-LaVista South Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Omaha Northwest Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Papillion-LaVista South is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
On Monday, Papillion-LaVista South earned a 9-4 win over Kearney.
Brady Palmer looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Emmett Minderman was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one double. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Cameron Curtis was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
Papillion-LaVista South was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kearney only posted a batting average of .185.
Omaha Northwest not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over Tekamah-Herman.
Will Krebbs was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Krebbs was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on George Upah, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Daniel Wescott, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.
Papillion-LaVista South's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average this season. As for Omaha Northwest, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything went Papillion-LaVista South's way against Omaha Northwest when the teams last played back in March of 2022, as Papillion-LaVista South made off with a 13-0 win.
