The Northwest Christian Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Wickenburg 61-40. Northwest Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Katelyn Best was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Juliana Larson, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Northwest Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Wickenburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian on the road again on Friday and play against Camp Verde at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Wickenburg, they will take on Bourgade Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
