While Villa Grove put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Cerro Gordo/Bement. The Blue Devils skirted past the Broncos 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since April 10th.

Not much got past Max Wilson, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Cerro Gordo/Bement off the board. Wilson has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Villa Grove's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
