There's no place like home for Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Louisville Wildcats on Saturday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by ten runs or more this season.

Columbus is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. Louisville dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against West Lowndes on the 11th. As for Louisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Noxubee County on the 12th.
