James Welch put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May on Saturday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Welch and Washington Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers will enter the matchup having just beaten Bucksport, so the Raiders will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
