Booker has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the West Texas Comanches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Texas took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Booker, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Booker had just enough and edged the Elks out 47-45.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Booker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hagen Chisum, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Xavier Aguilera was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
West Texas has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sanford-Fritch.
Booker's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for West Texas, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.
Things could have been worse for Booker, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-33 loss to the Comanches in their previous matchup back in January. Can Booker avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
