Roosevelt is a perfect 5-0 against Lincoln since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Roughriders will head out to challenge the Lynx at 3:30 p.m. Roosevelt will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Roosevelt got the win against Nathan Hale by a conclusive 19-5.
Gretchen Harder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Eva Lacey was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Perrie Ausk, who went 1-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nathan Hale only posted an OBP of .387.
Meanwhile, Lincoln fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Ballard on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 8-6. The Lynx haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Brienna Minton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Elena Conley was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Roosevelt, their record now sits at 10-5.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Roosevelt has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .461. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Roosevelt got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Lincoln by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roughriders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
