Western Harnett found a leader in Ava Corley as the squad took down Terry Sanford on Tuesday. Corley scored two runs while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in RBI.

Corley's strong effort led Western Harnett over Terry Sanford and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are a perfect 9-0 against the Bulldogs going back to February of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
