The Woodgrove Wolverines stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 77-47 victory over Park View. The win was familiar territory for Woodgrove who now have six in a row.
Joey Marcheschi was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Hill, who scored 13 points.
Messiah Dixon and Jonathan Nicola certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Dixon scored 18 points, while Nicola scored 18 points.
Woodgrove pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Park View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodgrove will take on Broad Run at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Broad Run is ranked 88th, while Woodgrove is ranked 78th). As for Park View, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Trinity at Meadow View at 7:30 p.m. Trinity at Meadow View comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
