Baseball Recap: Palisade Has No Trouble Against Grand Junction Central

After only one run in their last match, Palisade made sure to put some runs up on the board against Grand Junction Central on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Warriors 10-4. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Christian Herrera and Ascher Morby dominated on the mound. Herrera tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Morby didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Morby posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylon Larson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Salazar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Palisade kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
