It was a good run, but Whitnall unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hustlin' Hawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ella Lopez paced Whitnall's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lopez got some help from Gabrielle Wynn and her 31 assists. Wynn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
Whitnall's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 16-8. As for Greenfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Whitnall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenfield, after both having extra time off, they and St. Thomas More will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
