Sitka came tearing into  Saturday's  contest with 12 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  a  16-0 margin over the Ketchikan Kings. Considering the Wolves have won seven games by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
Sitka got a great performance from  Levi Hodges as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those  11  strikeouts gave  Hodges a new career-high.
 At the plate, Sitka let  Josh McAlpin and  Tyson Bartolaba run wild. McAlpin  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and two  RBI, while  Bartolaba  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  McAlpin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Josh Gluth, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Sitka  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .649. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ketchikan only posted  an  OBP of  .364.
Sitka pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ketchikan,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-12.
