Trinity is 1-6 against Boswell since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trinity Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Boswell Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. Trinity is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Trinity suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 52-32 defeat at the hands of Bell. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Bell is ranked 52nd).
In what's become a running theme this season, Boswell gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Chisholm Trail on the road to the tune of 80-19. With Boswell ahead 49-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Boswell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
Trinity took a serious blow against Boswell when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 69-31. Can Trinity avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
