They blew past Cristo Rey Atlanta, posting a 54-21 victory at home. Considering Atlanta Girls' School has won four contests by more than 21 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Atlanta Girls' School found their leader in underclassman Libby Knott, who scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Knott has scored at least 25% of Atlanta Girls' School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Williams, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Atlanta Girls' School's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Cristo Rey Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Atlanta Girls' School will head out on the road to face off against Fulton Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton Science Academy is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Cristo Rey Atlanta, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dominion Christian at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Dominion Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
