On Friday, Marina made easy work of Harbor  and carried off  a  42-22 victory.

 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 44  points the game before, Gonzales was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Friday. They took  a  26-7 bruising from Pajaro Valley.
 Marina's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Gonzales, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Marina was taken down by Gonzales 42-6 in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Mariners were down  28-0.
