Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Beavercreek walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Centerville Elks with a sharp 10-3 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Beavercreek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Centerville, they dropped their record down to 14-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Beavercreek nor the Elks have any future games scheduled.
