Quincy is 2-8 against Bronson since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Quincy Orioles will host the Bronson Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Bronson will be up against a hot Quincy team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Quincy came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 58-52 W against Maple Valley. 58 seems to be a good number for the Orioles as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Quincy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corey Turner, who posted 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Turner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kempter, who had ten points.
Meanwhile, Bronson was able to grind out a solid win over Lawton on Saturday, taking the game 61-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
Bronson's win came from a few key players Quincy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kamron Brackett, who went 8-for-19 on his way to 23 points and three steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Boston Bucklin, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points and three steals.
Bronson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.
Quincy pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 36.7% in those games and 23.3% outside of them. As for Bronson, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Quincy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Bronson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Quincy ended up a good deal behind Bronson in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 60-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Brackett, who went 9-for-17 en route to 27 points along with six boards and four steals. Now that Quincy knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
