On Friday, McClatchy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Foothill at 5:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
McClatchy couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Rosemont by a decisive 6-21 margin.
Meanwhile, Foothill took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Mira Loma 70-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
Foothill's win lifted them to 1-0 while McClatchy's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Foothill can add another positive mark to their record or if McClatchy can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Foothill's step.
