Martinsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Hedgesville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10-1.
Martinsburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hedgesville has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. Hedgesville took their win against Martinsburg in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 27-6 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
